These protein balls are being made every week in my house, for a quick snack. They’re wonderfully sweet thanks to the dates, while the cacao makes them so chocolaty. They last for ages, so you can make a big batch and store them in the fridge.
½ cup pitted Medjool dates
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup peanut butter or protein peanut butter from oh Mega nut butters
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
1 cup almond flour
1 tablespoon cocoa
2 tablespoons 100% Whey protein – chocolate flavour
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and whiz until they are combined, you can add a few drops of water if it is to dry.
Roll into balls and store in the fridge.
