I absolutely love cinnamon and the health benefits are great. I have tried so many different recipes and this one is by far the best. When I am craving something sweet I would have this as a snack.
6 cups of rolled oats
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup linseeds
½ cup sesame seeds
½ cup sunflower seeds
1 cup nuts (your favorite)
1 cup desiccated coconut
10 ml ground ginger
10 ml ground cinnamon
10 ml ground cloves
200 ml honey or maple syrup
150 ml coconut oil
Mix together the oats, seeds, nuts, coconut and spices in a large oven tray.
Heat the honey and coconut oil and gentle hear and stir into the oats mixture.
Toast the muesli at 70C for about an hour or until toasted.
Remember to stir half way. Allow the mixture to cool well before storing in an airtight container.
