750 ml Vodka
1 liter Water
500 g Sugar
Wash and peel the lemons, make sure there is no white parts on the skins left.
In a glass container put the lemon peels in, pour the vodka over the peels and let it infuse for 8-10 days.
Make a simple syrup with the water and sugar by combining them and boil until the sugar has dissolved. Let it cool.
Strain the vodka and mix it into the syrup.
Pour the lemoncello into sterilized jars and refrigerate it can last for up to 3 months in your fridge.
